Sotheby’s London Auction House
At over 250 years old, Sotheby’s London auction house is recognisable across the globe, having provided the backdrop for the sale of some of the most iconic pieces of artwork of recent history. Sotheby’s had a long-standing requirement to create a wall mural in their prestigious main auction room and, having tried many other product types, turned to Vista Digital when their Head of Visual Merchandising was impressed with their exhibit at 2017’s Surface Design Show. Vista Digital’s unique Onepiece product is perfect for Sotheby’s requirements, as its design allows the wall mural to be changed regularly to reflect the current auction. The efficiency of the product also minimises the disruption caused by an installation, as a fitting of the 33.4 square metre wall space typically takes just four hours. Vista Digital have completed over 30 wall mural installations for Sotheby’s London auction house, with budgets of between £5,000 and £10,000.
